Production Associate / Material Specialist
As a Material Specialist at Caterpillar you will execute a variety of functions related to material handling and warehouse operations. You will also work with various source documents to verify the accuracy and conditions of parts.
This role includes salary starting at $20.40/hour with periodic wage increases healthcare insurance employee discount programs free employee assistance program and more. Depending on business requirements normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Dont miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 2nd shift employees!
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Work in a environment with changing temperatures
Walk squat and bend over for intervals at a time
Operate material handling equipment such as power trucks forklifts pallet lifts etc.
Perform stock counts
Pick parts manually and deliver to various parts of facility
Required qualifications for Mapleton Seals Material Handler:
Basic knowledge of warehouse or similar environment
Ability to obtain certification to drive facility vehicles
Top candidates will also have:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Basic math skills
Additional Information:
Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shifts
2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday
This position does not offer relocation
This position requires no travel
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
Positions are supplemental full-time
