Job Summary**
Join HITACHI ENERGY USA INC as an Operations Intern focusing on Breakers and Modules. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to support daily operational tasks contribute to process improvements and gain valuable experience in the energy sector.
Job Responsibilities**
* Assist with data collection analysis and reporting related to Breakers and Modules operations.
* Support the coordination of logistics for product shipments and inventory management.
* Participate in process improvement initiatives identifying areas for efficiency gains.
* Collaborate with various departments including engineering production and supply chain.
* Help maintain accurate records and documentation for operational activities.
* Conduct research and present findings on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of operational procedures.
* Provide general administrative support to the operations team as needed.
Job Qualifications**
* Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical Industrial) Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
* Knowledge of or interest in the energy industry particularly power grids and electrical components is a plus.
