This hands-on role will partner closely with ownership to oversee the companys accounting operations financial reporting payroll and internal controls while helping maintain accurate timely financial information. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and month-end close
Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and supporting analyses
Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
Prepare budgets forecasts cash flow reports and financial analyses
Coordinate annual audits tax reporting and compliance activities
Monitor financial performance and recommend process improvements
Partner with ownership to support strategic business decisions and continued growth
Support accounting system optimization and process improvements
Mentor and develop accounting staff as the organization grows
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
5 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities
Construction industry experience required
Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting job costing and payroll
Experience with construction accounting software; Spectrum experience preferred
CPA preferred
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
