How youll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse who excels in this role:

• Oversees daily clinical operations and ensures continuity of care across departments
• Serves as the primary clinical resource for staff physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Provides leadership guidance and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts
• Assesses unit needs and prioritizes staffing assignments and patient care activities
• Coordinates admissions patient flow and room placement
• Ensures delivery of safe effective and patient-centered care
• Monitors patient care activities to reduce risk and prevent errors
• Provides direct patient care as needed based on unit demands
• Ensures accurate timely and compliant documentation
• Oversees completion and accuracy of Interdisciplinary Care Plans
• Supports Quality Indicator (QI) processes and performance improvement initiatives
• Promotes adherence to hospital policies regulatory standards and best practices
• Supports staff development education and a positive work environment
• Assists with staffing scheduling productivity and operational workflows

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license and have graduated from an accredited nursing program. Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BLS certification required
• CRRN certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitation or acute care setting required
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
• Strong leadership clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Schedule

3x12 Nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) rotating weekends
