Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Recovery Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a fast-paced post-procedural care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong recovery and patient monitoring experience with the ability to manage patients transitioning from procedural or surgical care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the recovery unit
- Monitor patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
- Assess and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Manage airway neurological and cardiovascular monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Ensure patient safety and quality standards are maintained throughout recovery care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in applicable state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Recovery PACU or post-procedural nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Strong patient monitoring and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment
