Voice Platform Software Engineer, Customer Systems

As a Voice Platform Software Engineer you will help design develop and operate scalable voice infrastructure and real-time communication services used in high-volume customer interaction environments. You will work on technologies related to SIP signaling media handling WebRTC distributed systems and cloud-native platform development. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals problem-solving ability and a passion for building resilient systems that operate at scale. You will collaborate closely with platform engineers client application teams infrastructure teams and architects to deliver reliable and high-performing communication solutions.

Design and develop scalable voice and real-time communication platform componentsnBuild and maintain software services for SIP signaling media control routing and session managementnDevelop reliable and efficient backend services using C or CnTroubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to voice quality signaling media flows and distributed systemsnCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver end-to-end communication solutionsnImprove platform scalability resiliency observability and operational efficiencynParticipate in architecture discussions code reviews testing and production support activitiesnContribute to automation monitoring and deployment tooling for voice platform servicesn

3 years of software development experience using C or CnExperience developing backend or distributed systems softwarenUnderstanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP HTTP TLS and load balancingnBachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience

Experience with WebRTC or VoIP technologiesnFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures and container technologies such as Docker or KubernetesnExperience with scalable distributed systems and event-driven architecturesnExperience working with Kafka Redis or similar distributed infrastructure technologiesnExperience with real-time communication platforms such as FreeSWITCH Kamailio Asterisk or similar technologiesnExperience with SIP RTP
