System Integration Engineer

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Integration Engineer (Level 3) to join a unique CACI team supporting the Integrated Broadcast Service Executive Agent in Reston this position you will work on IBS R&D modernization and network expansion efforts affecting current and future capabilities of a global data broadcast system. This role requires a deep technical understanding of server environments network technologies and security protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Design integrate and maintain IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers network security etc.) using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware software or system functional specifications.

• Analyze troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems servers storage and network connectivity.

• Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security as it relates to system requirements.

• Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.

• Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure. Act as a key contributor in new infrastructure projects.

• Network Technologies: Work with network technologies and protocols to ensure seamless communication between systems.

• Collaborate with adjacent systems network team to resolve connectivity and performance issues.

• Security Compliance:

• Adhere to DoD 8570.01-M and 8140 requirements for system administration.

• Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations procedures and changes.

• Generate reports/metrics on system performance and security status as required.
  

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in IT-related field desired.
8 years of experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on network administration.
10 years of technical experience/knowledge of installation configuration and security of server environments.
Direct experience with RHEL and MS Windows tools

Skills:
Proficient working knowledge of network technologies and protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications:

Required:

• Security (CE)

• TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph after beginning work
