What Youll Do

The Business Operations group within the Analytical Chemistry Organization (ACO) is looking for a representative to maintain task-based subcontracts vendor subcontracts and staff augmentation subcontracts within the ACO.

ACO Subcontract Technical Representative responsibilities:

Provide oversight of over 50 vendor service subcontracts staff augmentation basic ordering agreements and task order subcontracts.
Manage the development and approval process of organizational Statement of Works.
Interface and coordinate with internal ACO organizations as well as with the Procurement organization and the subcontracting entities to plan award and execute subcontracts in support of complex and multi-discipline objectives.
Manage contracted project scope through meetings correspondence and stakeholder engagement.
Improve efficiency and management of subcontracts through bid award on-boarding and initial execution
Gather and provide feedback to subcontractors to improve overall performance of subcontracts in ACO.

Minimum Job Requirements

Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
OR Masters degree and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
OR 10 or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Preferred Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in chemistry or science discipline
Experience in analytical chemistry laboratory
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Current or previous experience as an STR at Y-12 Pantex or other DOE nuclear site
Ability to conduct formal presentations to plant personnel and other interested parties
Ability to provide clear constructive feedback to vendors associated with performance

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712) which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
