The Business Operations group within the Analytical Chemistry Organization (ACO) is looking for a representative to maintain task-based subcontracts vendor subcontracts and staff augmentation subcontracts within the ACO.
ACO Subcontract Technical Representative responsibilities:
- Provide oversight of over 50 vendor service subcontracts staff augmentation basic ordering agreements and task order subcontracts.
- Manage the development and approval process of organizational Statement of Works.
- Interface and coordinate with internal ACO organizations as well as with the Procurement organization and the subcontracting entities to plan award and execute subcontracts in support of complex and multi-discipline objectives.
- Manage contracted project scope through meetings correspondence and stakeholder engagement.
- Improve efficiency and management of subcontracts through bid award on-boarding and initial execution
- Gather and provide feedback to subcontractors to improve overall performance of subcontracts in ACO.

- Bachelors degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- OR Masters degree and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- OR 10 or more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or science discipline
- Experience in analytical chemistry laboratory
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Current or previous experience as an STR at Y-12 Pantex or other DOE nuclear site
- Ability to conduct formal presentations to plant personnel and other interested parties
- Ability to provide clear constructive feedback to vendors associated with performance
