Structural Design Engineer

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join a growing engineering this role youll design and analyze structural components used in custom-built projects ensuring they are safe practical and meet engineering and quality standards.

Youll work closely with project managers production teams and other engineers to develop designs that can be efficiently manufactured and installed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving engineering challenges and working on a variety of structural design projects.

• Design and analyze structural components for custom-engineered projects.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and 2D/3D models using CAD software.
• Perform structural calculations to verify designs meet applicable engineering standards.
• Review project specifications and develop practical cost-effective design solutions.
• Work closely with engineering manufacturing and project teams throughout the design process.
• Prepare technical documents drawings and supporting design information.
• Assist with project planning material estimates and design reviews.
• Help resolve design-related questions during manufacturing and installation.
• Participate in quality reviews and contribute ideas to improve engineering processes and design standards.

• Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and analysis.
• Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD for creating engineering drawings and models.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.
• Familiarity with structural design codes and engineering standards.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience working on custom-engineered products or fabricated structural components.
• Familiarity with structural analysis or engineering calculation software.
• Experience supporting projects from design through manufacturing and installation.
• Background working in manufacturing industrial or other engineered product environments is a plus.
