About the Team

About the Role

Maintains the relationships and monitors performance of information technology vendors contracted for the delivery of outsourced services. Public (AWS Azure GCP) analysis of actuals to budget / forecast analyze key areas of waste and optimization and utilization rates. Extract and analyze large scale data within cloud billing and usage to support senior engineering and financial partners in decision making. Describe and implement opportunities for price optimizations initiatives with public cloud vendors including Reserved Instances (RIs) and Monthly Savings Plans. Identification implementation and maintenance of AWS Key Performance Indicators. Extract and analyze sophisticated datasets using well optimized SQL queries Python and R. Configure analytics platforms Looker and Portal Lightdash to create dashboards and reports to provide business insights and drive business development. Monitor service level objectives by building Grafana dashboards to track metrics like service status. Create alerts for significant changes in key metrics for teams to address anomalies in time.

Salary Range: $161300 - $241900

About You

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree in Data Science Data Analytics or related field.

Completion of a university level course research project internship or thesis in Public cloud GCP BigQuery data analysis;

Completion of a university level course research project internship or thesis in Cloud data machine learning modeling;

Completion of a university level course research project internship or thesis in Cloud data visualization using Python and SQL;

Completion of a university level course research project internship or thesis in Extracting and processing large-scale datasets using SQL queries and Python; and

Completion of a university level course research project internship or thesis in Configuring analytics platforms comparable to Looker to build dashboards and create reports.

As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants.
