This full-time position requires an individual with extensive SharePoint development experience to design develop and maintain electronic databases automated workflows and collaboration tools supporting the largest acquisition program in Department of Homeland Security history. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in SharePoint architecture workflow automation dashboard creation and data analytics to enable efficient program management and documentation control. Essential Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:The SharePoint Developer will design develop and maintain SharePoint environments workflows and data management systems supporting OPC program operations. Principal responsibilities include:Develop and maintain SharePoint workflows to support Coast Guard contract management and team collaboration activitiesDesign and implement custom dashboards for quick-view status reporting and program metricsCreate automated workflows for document creation indexing review delivery and approval processesDevelop and maintain data repositories for current and historical program documentationBuild standardized reports and presentation graphs showing workflow status and process metricsSupport SharePoint software upgrades patches and system enhancementsResearch and data mine within and outside SharePoint to retrieve data and develop performance metricsMonitor data management repositories and forward documentation to relevant USCG staff members as directedScreen documents for proper distribution markings and data rights; review Data Accession ListsMaintain version-controlled data products processed through workflows including contract deliverablesTrack and organize program documentation including MSAM documents decisional memorandums and correspondenceSupport administration collection and submission of time-sensitive data calls (often with 24-hour turnaround)Develop processes and plans for creation incorporation and maintenance of reports trackers and documentsMaintain spreadsheets and SharePoint task lists tracking program financial activitiesProvide SharePoint system status presentations and user requirement analysesTroubleshoot user issues and provide technical support to Government and contractor personnelMonitor content placed on SharePoint and notify COR of any issues within one business dayAttend meetings to review SharePoint status and document meeting notes related to assigned tasksEnsure all documents and deliverables are stored in Government-approved Integrated Data EnvironmentsEducation and Experience:Required:Bachelors DegreeMinimum of four (4) years infrastructure and web-based development experience in a SharePoint software environmentClearance Requirement:Secret security clearanceRequired Skills and Competencies:Expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint architecture development and administrationProficiency developing custom SharePoint workflows web parts and formsStrong experience with SharePoint Designer PowerShell scripting and SharePoint OnlineKnowledge of Microsoft Office software suite including Word Excel and Power BIExperience in performance metrics development analysis and trendingStrong understanding of database management and data organization principlesAbility to develop dashboards and data visualization toolsExperience with version control and document management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication skills for presenting technical information to non-technical audiencesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail in data validation and quality assuranceCapability to respond quickly to urgent data requests and system issuesUnderstanding of information security and data rights managementDesired Skills and Competencies:Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator or Developer certificationExperience supporting Department of Homeland Security or Department of Defense programsFamiliarity with Coast Guard or Navy acquisition program documentation requirementsKnowledge of Major System Acquisition Manual (MSAM) processesExperience with configuration management and change control principlesUnderstanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations and contract deliverable requirementsExperience integrating SharePoint with Power Automate and Power AppsKnowledge of SQL database managementExperience with Azure DevOps or similar development platformsFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
