Job Summary

16 hour Weekend Days

Availability to work 6:30 AM 2:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements:
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergency and non-emergency calls.
Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
Excellent customer service and community policing approach.
Experience handling emotionally charged situations and de-escalating conflicts.
Ability to investigate suspicious activity security incidents and safety concerns.
Ability to protect patients visitors staff and hospital property.
Experience working in healthcare security law enforcement military or public safety environments is beneficial.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain:
    • CPR/AED/First Aid certification
    • CPI De-Escalation Training certification
    • IAHSS Basic Officer Certification (within first 90 days)
  • Fluent English reading writing and speaking skills
  • Basic computer and report-writing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or bachelors degree in Criminal Justice or a related field
  • 13 years of security law enforcement military healthcare security or related experience
  • Fluency in a second language
