Job Summary
Duration: 6 - 8 Months with potential of extension
Location: Washington D.C
- Candidates must reside in the DC Metro Area
- Hybrid work arrangement
- Required onsite presence: 2 3 days per week
- We are looking for hands-on Salesforce Developers with strong platform development experience supporting Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.
- Candidates must be more than Salesforce administrators and should possess solid coding and customization capabilities within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Public Trust eligibility required
- Active Secret clearance preferred
- Previous Secret clearance highly desirable
- 3 4 years of Salesforce development experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification required
- Strong experience with:
- Apex development
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce integrations/APIs
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience customizing and extending Salesforce applications
- Ability to participate in customer technical interviews with the Department of State
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer II (PD2) certification preferred
- Prior federal government experience
- Previous State Department DoD or civilian agency experience preferred
- Previous cleared environment experience is highly valued
- This role is best suited for true Salesforce developers rather than admin-only candidates.
- We are specifically seeking individuals with hands-on development and customization experience in enterprise Salesforce environments.
