Join our team as a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) supporting the Advanced Technologies (AT) Strategic Business Quality drives customer program and business success by effectively synthesizing the support and results of all Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) disciplines to ensure our customers receive quality products and services on time and on PQE will partner with the Program Quality Lead and interfaces with program and functional partners across the full product life cycle including technical development production/manufacturing integration and test and sustainment and ensures alignment with key industry standards and initiatives including AS9100 AS9145 and APQP to ensure that customer expectations and end-user objectives are satisfied.
This is an Onsite role based inMassachusetts likely Woburn or Tewksbury.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as a key member of the program execution team ensuring successful program performance by ensuring conforming products and services through effective collaboration and compliance to processes and procedures.
- Review and approve design artifacts and change requests to assess technical impact and quality.
- Review and approve subcontract statements of work to ensure alignment with program requirements.
- Assess technical risks of non-conformance utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Support and provide oversight for failure investigations and nonconformance reviews.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and customers to ensure alignment and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement.
- Initiate and perform root cause analysis facilitate corrective actions and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145 as applicable.
Qualification You Must Have:
- Typically requires Bachelors Degree in Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering Manufacturing and/or Operations.
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in providing quality technical expertise to ensure effective design/development and/or manufacturing results.
- Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that have content in remote sites particularly Site Quality experience to include support to material receipt installation integration test and selloff.
- Active and transferable Secret or higher U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience applying quality requirements and standards including aerospace commercial defense and/or space standards as well as internal policies procedures and requirements.
- Experience with contractual quality requirements particularly on U.S. Government contracts.
- Experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors suppliers and/or IOTs.
- Experience with defense systems throughout the product life cycle including design production installation integration test and sustainment.
- Experience identifying analyzing and documenting problems with requirements program functionality and/or software releases.
- Experience supporting Configuration Control Boards (CCB) and nonconforming material review / Material Review Board (MRB) and/or failure review / Failure Review Board (FRB).
- Experience defining and analyzing Quality metrics.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally.
- Experience assessing Engineering work products (Peer Reviews Configuration Control Boards Code Reviews Product Readiness and Sale etc.) to identify and eliminate in-phase defects.
- Experience participating in test preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified.
- Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that have content in remote sites particularly Site Quality experience.
- Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.
- Experience utilizing data quality science tools and facilitatingcross-functionalteams to drive root cause corrective action and systematic improvement activities.
- RTX CORE certified and proficient.
- Earned Value certified and proficient.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification and/or Program Management Certification.
- Experience communicating verbally and in written communications and networking with other stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 107500 USD - 204500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
