Summary of the Position: The Program Coordinator is responsible for direct support for BerksCounty Program.
Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program particularly as it relates to contract compliance service delivery and the client intake/referral process for services.
This position oversees the Advocacy Services as it relates to the client case management and providing community outreach and support.
The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.
Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree preferred
o Equivalent experience in a community-based agency may be accepted unless a specific degree is required by a referring authority
Minimum ofone (1) year of experiencemanaging personnel and/or budgets
Experience providing home and community-based services
Experience working with at-risk youth and families
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems a plus
Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) with a plus.
Valid drivers license reliable transportation and current auto insurance
