What Youll Do

• Participate in cross-functional teams within the plant to enhance performance in manufacturing efficiency supply chain operations and customer service.
• Use strong system skills analytical abilities and business knowledge to examine the effectiveness of manufacturing and Supply Chain operations and communicate conclusions.
• Determine scope of improvement projects; initiate and lead improvement projects as necessary.
• Develop reports and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Support new system implementation projects and initiatives within the Supply Chain department.
• Support packaging and warehouse activities including: Process improvements in shipping and receiving Optimizing warehouse storage solutions Improving packaging efficiencies
• Create modify improve and support business reports and queries for Operations Supply Chain Finance and other functional groups.
• Analyze internal and external processes (benchmarking) to maximize efficiency of functions and systems.
• Perform work in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment.
• Observe safe work practices and proactively report unsafe conditions.

• Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications (Excel and Access).
• Willing to work 6AM 2PM (hours may change based on the needs of the business).

A Few Things to Know

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working Schedule (days/times): Monday to Friday 8-5pm
• 2 5 years experience in Supply Chain.
• Degree in Supply Chain or APICS certification preferred.
• Experience training or certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma/Performance Excellence.
• Green Belt certification preferred.
• Understanding of Cable Products Materials and Manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• SAP experience preferred.
