Material Handler Night Shift

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

Night Shift: Starts at 6:00PM

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as forklifts cranes pallet jacks and RF scanners 

• Weigh measure and inspect raw materials according to work orders 

• Load unload and move crates boxes and materials within the plant yard or work site 

• Sort check and distribute kits and components to production lines with accuracy 

• Load/unload trailers between the main site and off-site distribution center 

• Verify and sign for inbound freight from suppliers; clean and label materials 

• Use hand tools to open containers and assist operators/inspectors 

• Operate elevators and other equipment to assist product movement 

• Follow SOPs GMPs OSHA and safety/security/environment guidelines 

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED (HSE preferred) 

• 13 years experience in a similar role; warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus 

• Ability to lift and move up to 5075 lbs. periodically 

• Proficiency with electric pallet jacks and forklifts 

• Ability to work in varying environments (including cold) 

• Strong reading writing and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to multi-task prioritize and shift priorities quickly 

• Comfortable with repetitive movements and standing/walking for long periods

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours 10 hours and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
