Maintenance Technician (Assigned by Third Party Employer)

SUMMARY:
Perform skilled maintenance assignments necessary to ensure the proper upkeep and efficient operation of all LISD buildings grounds and equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Michigan drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
• 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related skilled trade

Preferred:

• Valid license journeyperson card or accredited certification in one or more of the following:
  • Building Maintenance & Alterations
  • General Building Contractor
  • Low Voltage Electrical
• Michigan Department of Environment Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE) S-5 Water Works System Operator Certification or the ability to obtain the initial certification within two (2) years of employment.
• Experience with HVAC systems including installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Up to 260 days; up to 8 hours per day.
Grade E Hourly Non-Exempt

$25.63 (Includes Third Party Premium)
