About the Role
Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Logistics Process Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Bowling Green KY.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for daily results (DOM items changeovers process settings uptime waste safety quality)
- Develop/train/drive a structured approach to troubleshooting and standardized work practices within the logistics teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate equipment performance using available documentation and facts.
- Develop/standardize/monitor/control process settings and train operators
- Identify/lead/support Continuous Improvement Projects that will improve the long-term productivity of the lines improve quality and/or improve safety. Ensure proper prioritization of projects.
- Support the technical trainer/coordinator in providing day-to-day operational training to technicians. (i.e. precise setup changeover procedures)
- Support the development and implementation of process control systems (SPC 5S 4M preventative and/or predictive maintenance quick changeover etc.) that improve quality production results and consider the long-term perspective in meeting needs and goals.
- Works with other Process Engineers to ensure standardized control formats (changeover sequencing critical parameter checks process settings etc.)
Who You Are
- Bachelors degree required in an Engineering or related technical discipline
- 1 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment required 3 years preferred.
- Computer experience essential to include Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel.
- Needs to possess excellent communication leadership and facilitation skills.
- Must be able to multi-task effectively and work in an environment of constant interruptions.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment and to perform a variety of duties without direct supervision.
- Must possess a working knowledge of statistics as it relates to process control.
- Advanced structured problem solving skills required.
