As an Engineering Project Manager within the Product Design organization you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation process for one of our iPhone Product Design teams.

You help lead a team of cross-functional partners and external vendors to meet the overall program objectives focusing on mechanical engineering design development planning and validation cycles of new iPhones. Your ability to deep dive into material fundamentals creatively solve challenging logistics and technical problems and collaborate and work well with inter-disciplinary teams are key to delivering the best material solutions and products to our customers.

Drive the strategic execution iPhone Product Design ensuring alignment with overall project goals and the projects design goals ensuring they are integrated into all aspects of the program and holding teams accountable for achieving the creation and adherence of project schedules ensuring key decision milestones are met across all phases and holding teams budgets track spending and ensure financial prudence; proactively identifying appropriate scope drivers and their cost clear and consistent communication and alignment between internal teams (Product Design System EE u0026 RF Manufacturing) and external partners ensuring everyone is working towards the same strong leadership and support during build phases ensuring timely delivery of components proactive problem-solving and definition of validation the release process for parts and enclosures ensuring timely and accurate releases and holding teams accountable for meeting release deadlines.

Experience collaborating with and facilitating communication across Design Engineering Operations teams and our OEM partners to meet very aggressive schedule and quality goalsnAbility to independently drive projects though rapid development cycles and deliver a productnDetailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of manufacturing processesnUnderstand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision makingnProvide project status across a wide spectrum of contributors to executive management
