Inventory Control Specialists I

• Supports the execution of all processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy for the Logistics Center.

• Performs warehouse bin accuracy and maintains inventory shrink.

• Utilizes Warehouse Management System and various types of material handling equipment.

$ 17/hr.

Shift: 5am-1:30pm

• Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.

• Investigates bin location variances and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.

• Researches problem orders and receipts for the Logistics Center.

• Inputs data into warehouse management system databases and reporting tools.

• Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy to include: cycle counts pick exceptions bad box lost bin found bin pick paths and bin maintenance.

• Collects maintains and provides detailed statistics and reports on various performance measurements.

• Performs to quality standards in multiple functions.

• Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

• Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Educational:

• High School/G.E.D.

Previous Experience (Years & Type):

• Minimum of two years experience working with transaction-intensive warehouse management / inventory systems in a high-volume facility.

Working Conditions:

• Distribution center environment which includes exposure to work at varying heights; extreme temperatures; moderate and consistent noise levels hot and dry or wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions.
• Ability to position oneself to meet physical demands of position.
• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
• Be knowledgeable of all safety practices relating to welding processes.
• Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
