Job Summary

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position: Behavioral Health Intern functions alongside QMHP-CS and under supervision provides one-on-one psychosocial rehabilitation skills training group facilitation case management support family engagement and community outreach services to children adolescents and families.

Location: Austin Texas and Surrounding Areas

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Social Work Counseling Psychology Human Services Marriage and Family Therapy Sociology or related behavioral health program.
  • Familiarity with mental health substance use and recovery services
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
  • Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
  • Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Skills preferred.
