Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager the Full Stack Software Developer will contribute to the design development testing and validation of software solutions supporting X-Rite Pantone products and platforms.

This is an early-career opportunity to build foundational expertise while working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative cross-functional environment. The Full Stack Software Developer will partner with software engineers product teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned to customer and business needs.

This position is part of the Software Engineering teamlocatedin Grand Rapids Michigan and will be hybrid.

In this role a typical day will look like:

• Contribute to the design development and maintenance of full-stack software applications using C# technologies
• Develop test and validate software components to ensure functionality performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and apply established development standards and best practices
• Support troubleshooting debugging and resolution of software defects
• Contribute to software testing and validation activities
• Utilize version control and CI/CD tools to support efficient development workflows

The essential requirements of the job include:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Academic internship or co-op experience in software development or engineering
• Foundational proficiency in C# development concepts
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to full stack web development (HTML CSS JavaScript or similar technologies)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions)
• Experience with software testing and validation methods and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Exposure to multiple operating systems (Windows Linux macOS)
