Job Summary

Position Summary

As aFrontOfficeAgent you are the first point of contact for guests playing a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable stay. This position involves managing check-ins and check-outs handling cashiering duties andattending toguests needs with prompt and personalized service.

Essential Functions

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival ensuring a warm and friendly first impression.
  • Register guests into the computer system verifying reservationdetailsand processing payments.
  • Handle cash and balance the cash drawermaintainingaccuratefinancial records.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
  • Assistguests with check-out ensuring all services are correctly accounted for and processing various forms of payment.
  • Field guest complaints conduct research and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the hotels services facilities and the local area.
  • Follow hotel policies and procedures including safety and security standardsbrand standardsand continuously strive to improve operational standards.
  • Participate in upselling and promoting marketing programs to enhance guest experience and hotel revenue.
  • Work cohesively with the team supporting management and collaborating professionally with co-workers.
  • Maintain knowledge of andcomply withdepartmental policies service procedures 4 Keys service standards and safety and security procedures.
  • Perform alladditionalduties asassigned by management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Understand the mission vision and goals of the hotel.
  • Must be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently.
  • Must be able to speak and understand and communicate the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • General knowledge of the city wherethe hotelislocatedand its attractions.
  • Extensive knowledge of the hotel itsservicesand facilities.รข
  • Strong teamplayer able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner.

Pay: The rate of pay for this position is $$18.00

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Flexible and long hours sometimes required

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to hear understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to bend and twist push and pull stoop and kneel
