The role:

• Support budgeting forecasting and long-range planning activities for plant costcentres including headcount andpeoplecosts.

• Providetimelyvariance analysis costreportingand forecasting insights throughout the month-end close process.

• Deliver clear management reporting on production and overhead costs including Monthly Operating Report submissions.

• Partner with plant operations and finance stakeholders toidentifytrendsrisksand opportunities through detailed analysis.

• Review production costs standard costallocationsand cost variances to support improved business performance.

• Build strong relationships across operationalcommercialand technical teams to supportaccuratefinancial reporting.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• University degree qualification anda professionalaccounting qualification such as ACACIMAor equivalent.

• Strong experience inmanagementaccounting costanalysisand financial planning within manufacturing.

• Understanding ofproduction costing varianceanalysisand financial performance drivers.

• Ability to challenge constructively influencestakeholdersandprovideactionable business insights.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Experience within the chemicalsautomotiveor related industrial sectors would beadvantageous.
