Their platform helps healthcare organizations improve procurement operations supply chain visibility and master data management through large-scale data infrastructure and workflow automation.
The company has been profitable since inception and continues to scale rapidly while partnering closely with major healthcare systems hospitals consulting organizations and enterprise customers. They are now expanding engineering leadership to support a growing multi-team engineering organization and increasing platform complexity.
What You Will Do
Lead and manage a distributed engineering organization spanning multiple technical domains including integrations platform engineering data infrastructure and DevSecOps
Drive team execution sprint planning delivery coordination and engineering operational excellence across pods
Partner closely with technical leads product and cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering resources with business priorities
Conduct regular 1:1s mentorship performance reviews and career development planning for engineers at multiple levels
Build and scale the engineering organization through hiring onboarding and team development initiatives
Improve engineering processes delivery predictability collaboration workflows and operational efficiency across teams
Help ensure strong engineering practices around testing CI/CD deployment workflows and software reliability
Act as a liaison between engineering and customer-facing functions including implementation customer success and operations
Support long-term organizational scaling while maintaining a high-performance ownership-driven engineering culture
Ideal Background
2 years of engineering management experience ideally across multiple teams or technical domains
4 years of prior software engineering experience building scalable backend systems data platforms or infrastructure systems
Proven track record mentoring and developing engineers across varying experience levels
Experience operating in fast-moving startup or high-growth environments
Strong understanding of backend systems cloud infrastructure CI/CD workflows and engineering operations
Familiarity with Python SQL JavaScript and modern cloud-based engineering environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
Ability to balance execution people leadership process improvement and organizational scaling simultaneously
Preferred
Experience within healthcare technology healthcare operations or supply chain infrastructure
Experience managing teams focused on data infrastructure ETL/ELT pipelines or operational systems
Familiarity with data governance reconciliation workflows and enterprise operational tooling
Experience operating within agile product and engineering environments
Background supporting distributed or remote-first engineering teams
Compensation and Benefits and Other Things
Base salary: $160K$200K
