Summary:

Drive the architecture schematic capture and PCB layout for a high-visibility MFC program. Partner closely with cross-functional teams to accelerate design procurement and test guiding each design through the Design Assurance process from concept to release.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and cross-functional teams to solve integration and interface challenges.

• Define refine and document system performance and interface requirements.

• Design and support multiple circuit card assemblies (CCAs) flex prints and cable harnesses.

• Own bills of materials (BOMs) part sourcing and build activities.

• Select electrical connectors and develop cable routing layouts.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot issues; provide technical direction for failure investigations.

• Take end-to-end ownership from concept through implementation.

• Communicate progress risks and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

• Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution plus 3 years of professional experience.

• Hands-on experience with circuit card design integration and test.

• Experience developing and refining system/performance/interface/environmental requirements.

• Proficiency with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise (or equivalent) for schematic capture.

• Proficiency with Cadence PSpice (or equivalent) for circuit simulation and analysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with MFC circuit card design processes.

• Experience with military standards and specifications (e.g. MIL-STD-461 MIL-STD-704).

• Experience with Xilinx UltraScale FPGAs.
