Job Description:
As a Business Analyst you will lead requirements gathering and coordination efforts for vendor-driven and internal technology initiatives while acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders vendors and IT teams. You will play a critical role in translating business needs into actionable requirements supporting system enhancements and ensuring smooth implementation through effective communication training and testing activities. This role also involves contributing to production support by troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Business Analyst for vendor-led technology projects
- Facilitate discovery sessions workshops and ongoing requirement discussions
- Translate business needs into clear testable requirements including user stories and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with vendor teams and technical stakeholders to define scope dependencies and deliverables
- Support development of communication plans for system changes and releases
- Assist in creating training plans materials and user adoption strategies
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test script creation and defect tracking
- Gather and refine requirements for internal application enhancements and small projects
- Participate in production support by triaging issues and documenting defects
- Work closely with developers and vendors to reproduce and resolve system issues
- Maintain clear documentation for requirements workflows and system behavior
- Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- 5 years of experience as an IT or Business Analyst Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements (BRDs user stories use cases)
- Experience working with both vendor-led and internal development projects
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project lifecycle management
- Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing defect resolution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with production support issue triaging and defect documentation
- Excellent organizational collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Experience developing communication and training plans (preferred)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments supporting multiple concurrent initiatives (preferred)
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
