3rd Class Electrician
Houma LA Full-Time Day Shift
Summary:
Seeking a dependable 3rd Class Electrician to support electrical installation maintenance and repair in a shipyard environment. The ideal candidate has industrial or marine electrical experience can read basic electrical drawings and works safely in a fast-paced setting.
Must Haves:
- 2 years of electrical experience in industrial marine or construction environments
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems wiring and troubleshooting
- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience using electrical hand and power tools
- Ability to pass a hands-on electrical test
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
Prefers:
- Shipyard or offshore electrical experience
- Familiarity with marine electrical systems
- Knowledge of NEC standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifying Questions:
- How many years of electrical experience do you have
- Do you have experience in a shipyard industrial or marine environment
- Can you read and interpret basic electrical drawings and schematics
- Are you comfortable using electrical hand and power tools
