Job Summary

Position Role: SO2 CSS is a key staff officer within the Divisional HQ providing in depth sustainment support to current operations and future planning. Responsibilities:
1. Principal CSS SO2 within the Warfighting Division HQ deputising for SO1 CSS where required.
2. Works in close coordination with SO1 CSS in order to ensure CSS balance of effort is maintained and prioritisation is appropriate.
3. Principal officer co-ordinating HQ and Div operational Sustain Recover and Rehabilitation activities in coordination with Med Log and ES Branches.
4. Coord all CSS activities across the CSS Branches and wider HQ in barracks and deployed.
5. Supports ammunition planning for training through the CASP.
6. Provides a CSS focus for DCOS and filters information accordingly to give executive coordination to maximise their effect.
7. On exercise deploys in either Fwd HQ with SO1 CSS as the Divisional CSS cell or as principal sustain LO to Corps.
8. CSS focus for all doctrinal and force development including SOI management and WARDEV.
