Layout Engineer

Design the future of food production facilities.

JBT Marel is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Layout Engineer to join our team in Helsingborg this role you will play a key part in designing customer factory layouts for freezer projects supporting both sales and engineering teams in delivering high-quality technically accurate solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding our colleagues in Boxmeerto ensure layouts meet customer needs technical requirements and operational efficiency standards.

What youll be doing

• Create and develop 2D factory layouts for customer freezer projects
• Coordinate with Sales and Proposal teams to produce layout drawings and models for bids and customer presentations
• Integrate JBT Marel freezers and related auxiliary equipment into customer factory layouts
• Interpret technical drawings P&IDs and specifications to ensure accurate design outputs
• Collaborate with engineering project and commercial teams to refine layouts and optimize solutions
• Ensure designs align with customer requirements industry standards and internal guidelines

Experience & Education

• Proven experience in layout design for industrial equipment production lines or process plants
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or a similar CAD tool
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings P&IDs and specifications
• Relevant technical or engineering background is preferred
• Experience working in cross-functional international environments is an advantage
