Job Summary
Facility Manager Job Description
• Manage hard and soft FM services including HVAC Mechanical systems Electrical Infrastructure Fire and Life safety BMS Cleaning Security Pest control Waste Management landscaping and ensure building systems operate properly.
• Monitor maintenance schedules and service records.
• Plan and supervise preventive corrective and reactive maintenance.
• Maintain building assets and extend lifecycle through proper upkeep.
• Track equipment history warranties and replacement planning.
• Prepare asset condition reports.
• Lead FM teams and Manage subcontractors service providers for facility upgrade repairs and inspections.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor contractor performance and KPI compliance with SLAs.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe work practices.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets (OPEX & CAPEX).
• Control operational expenses and optimize resource use.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain fire safety systems and conduct inspections.
• Coordinate emergency response plans related to facility incidents or hazards
• Implement HSE policies and risk assessments.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement saving initiatives.
• Optimize system performance for efficiency.
• Maintain maintenance logs service reports and compliance records.
• Prepare monthly performance and KPI reports.
