Our client is recruiting a Developer to join their data transformation team in Krakow. Youll play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies. As a Developer youll assess current applications and work collaboratively with solution architects to determine optimal transformation strategies. Youll evaluate application complexity design target architectures aligned with enterprise requirements and support development teams through the transition from planning to implementation. Your work will directly impact how organisations modernise their data infrastructure and unlock insights from their data assets.
Assess current applications and collaborate with architects to define transformation strategies
Determine application complexity and effort required for cloud migration
Design target architectures based on enterprise requirements and best practices
Plan and prioritise development team activities and project backlogs
Support development teams throughout application transformation and modernisation
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with clients
Work with data architects to implement data models and processing schemas
Essential skills and experience:
6-8 years experience in software development or data engineering
Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud platform
Strong experience with Apache PySpark and data processing frameworks
DevOps experience with Azure deployment and infrastructure management
Working knowledge of Azure SQL or PostgreSQL databases
Understanding of OneLake and Delta Lake data formats
Experience with data workflows and ETL processes
Ability to work on-site in Gdynia 23 days per week
Desirable skills:
Azure Cosmos DB and NoSQL database experience
Microsoft Fabric and Data Factory Gen 2 knowledge
Strategic data modelling (SDM) experience
Postgres database variant expertise
