Court Data Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented Basketball Court Data & Content Specialist to help expand and maintain our basketball court database. This role involves researching verifying and adding basketball courts to our app with accurate information high-quality descriptions and consistent formatting.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled at online research has strong critical thinking abilities and can distinguish between verified facts and assumptions. A passion for basketball and familiarity with courts facilities and basketball culture is a strong advantage.

• Research and identify basketball courts from a variety of sources including:
  • Google Maps
  • Apple Maps
  • Social media platforms
  • Official websites
  • Photos and user-generated content
  • AI-assisted research tools
  • Local community resources
• Verify and cross-reference information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Add new basketball courts to the app with detailed and accurate information.
• Maintain and update existing court listings when new information becomes available.
• Write and curate court descriptions that match the apps editorial style and tone.
• Ensure all content is professional grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
• Evaluate the reliability of sources and use sound judgment when information is incomplete or conflicting.
• Document findings clearly and communicate any uncertainties or data issues to the team.

• Exceptional internet research and information-gathering skills.
• Strong logical reasoning and ability to derive accurate conclusions from multiple sources.
• Experience using mapping platforms such as Google Maps and Apple Maps.
• Excellent written English including spelling grammar and professional communication.
• Ability to identify verify and organize large amounts of information efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Comfortable using AI tools to assist research while independently validating information.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Knowledge of basketball courts facilities and basketball culture.
• Experience in content moderation database management data entry or location-based content curation.
• Familiarity with social media research techniques and local community groups.
• Experience writing location descriptions travel content or directory listings.

• Courts are added with complete and accurate information.
• Descriptions are engaging informative and consistent with the apps style.
• Information is thoroughly verified and supported by reliable sources.
• New courts are discovered proactively and added efficiently.
• Minimal errors corrections or duplicate entries.
