Our client is a fast-growing B2B podcast production and content marketing business operating in a remote-first startup environment.

The company supports professional service businesses and founders through podcast production content distribution and media-driven customer acquisition systems.

They are seeking a highly detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support financial operations reporting reconciliations and accounting administration.

The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting operations with a strong emphasis on:

• Xero bookkeeping
• Stripe reconciliation
• reporting accuracy
• accounts payable and receivable
• subscription revenue tracking
• financial organization

• Maintain accurate financial records inside Xero
• Categorize and reconcile financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable workflows
• Conduct daily weekly and monthly reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial documentation and records

• Reconcile Stripe payments refunds disputes and subscription activity
• Track recurring revenue and payment activity
• Monitor billing accuracy and transaction reporting
• Maintain alignment between payment systems and accounting records

• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets
• Generate financial reporting for leadership review
• Track operational financial KPIs and revenue metrics
• Support budgeting and financial analysis initiatives

• Assist with US tax preparation and documentation
• Maintain organized records for compliance purposes
• Coordinate with external accountants or tax advisors as needed
• Support quarterly and annual filing preparation

• 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Xero Accounting Software
• Experience reconciling Stripe transactions and subscriptions
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable management
• Strong attention to detail and organizational accuracy

• Experience supporting startups or subscription-based businesses
• Familiarity with US accounting processes
• Experience preparing financial reports for leadership teams
• Experience with SaaS media or professional services businesses
• Accounting certifications or bookkeeping credentials are a plus

  • sales tax support processes
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities are required including formulas projections and reporting
• Familiarity with integrations between Xero Stripe and operational systems is highly preferred
• Candidates must be comfortable using productivity/time-tracking software
• Compensation is tied to productive tracked hours and KPI performance
