The Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS) will see MOD Serco and their consortium of partners providing a Tri-Service recruiting solution which for the RN will commence on 1 Apr 27. AFRS will provide end to end support from candidate attraction to assessment to preparing to join Phase 1 training. The solution will utilise Service Personnel in high value candidate facing roles in the Command and Support Unit and in recruitment selection Under-Represented Groups outreach and the national career centre.

Unit and Position Role
Unit Function - Deliver Armed Forces Recruitment to maximise optimal inflow of workforce to support delivery of Defence strategic and operational capabilities.
Position Role - Supporting theeffective delivery oftSOfficerAssessments andassessment centre logistics and administration.
Responsibilities
Provision of DoC / pastoral care and welfare support to Candidates and U18s in accordance with the HoE Supervisory Care Directive.
Oversight of out of hours candidate Duty of Care and safeguarding duties.
Support candidate reception assessment movement and departures.
Support assessors with the production and administration of Officer assessment activities and materials.
Provide resources required to enable physical assessments and leadership competency assessments. Ensuring Health and Safety compliance.
Support uniformed staff mandatory training and physical assessments. Supporting the delivery of internal military training packages. (Trauma Risk Management Coordination).
Share personal lived experience of life in the Armed Forces to engage and inform candidates.
Provide Military advice to team SERCO site manager.
