Duties & Responsibilities
Goods Receiving & Inspection
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders delivery notes and invoices
- Inspect raw materials and components for damage quality and quantity
- Complete and process Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
Inventory & Stock Control
- Update stock on ERP / inventory systems (SAP Syspro Oracle commonly used in manufacturing)
- Assist with cycle counts and stock takes
- Ensure correct storage labelling and batch tracking
Documentation & Administration
- Maintain accurate receiving registers and filing
- Capture data accurately and on time
- Resolve discrepancies with procurement suppliers and store
Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to OHS handling procedures and factory safety rules
- Comply with quality standards FIFO/FEFO principles
- Handle hazardous or regulated materials where applicable
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade12 NSC)
- 3-5 years experience in receiving stores or manufacturing warehousing preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong numeracy and record keeping
- Integrity and honesty
