POSITION SCOPE
The Water Truck Operator must be able to operate a water truck according to project specifications. Primary duties include watering the haul road maintaining and operating equipment on a daily basis on a washing or crushing plant.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
Perform general maintenance repair and service wash or crushing plant equipment as required or directed by supervisor
Individual must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
Use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED
Valid drivers license with acceptable motor vehicle record
Part 48 certified or willing to obtain
Work well in a team environment
Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
