Adoration Home Health is currently seeking a full time Eligibility Coordinator This is a remote role and is an excellent opportunity to develop your administrative and customer service skills while supporting a top home health provider in the region!
Schedule: 7:30 am- 4:30 pm Pacific time zone

Responsibilities
Answer telephones and provide excellent customer service to our professional staff and insurance representatives
Run and utilize computer reports regularly
Observe confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information
Provide accurate complete updates to Agency management on status of Insurance Eligibility for all patients
Ensures that Insurance Eligibility is obtained and documented for all patients
Is responsible for seeing that objectives are implemented follows and promotes agency policies and procedures
Ensure that all eligibility responses are documented clearly
Participate in the orientation and education of other employees as relates to Eligibility department
Observes confidentiality and safeguard all patient related information
Notifies Supervisor of problems in a timely manner and works to help provide solutions
Completes ongoing education requirements and demonstrates ongoing competency in required areas
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices
General knowledge of the framework organization and function of home care
Sound knowledge of health care operations and third-party reimbursement
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook Internet Explorer) with the ability to learn industry specific software applications
Solid organizational skills thoroughness and a keen attention to detail with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing effectively
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
