XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK US & Europe and is working with Mission Critical organisations & construction companies to successfully deliver major projects.

THE ROLE

XYZ Reality is building the worlds most advanced AR platform for construction and the mobile app is a core part of how our technology reaches the people using it on site every day.

Were looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to take strong technical ownership of our React Native app a production product used in demanding real-world construction environments with 360-degree capture AR integration offline-first workflows and deep integrations into our wider Cloud and AR/3D platform.

This is not a maintenance role. Youll help shape the architecture drive the delivery pipeline end-to-end work hands-on with native iOS and partner closely with Cloud AR/3D and UX teams to push the product forward. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Architect build and scale our React Native mobile app for construction workflows driving modern patterns strong TypeScript typing and performance optimised for demanding on-site and offline-first conditions including 360-degree capture and AR integration.

Work hands-on with native iOS (Swift with some Objective-C) to build bridges integrate third-party native SDKs including 360 cameras and point cloud viewers and evolve 360-degree capture capabilities for progress tracking reality capture and issue management on site.

Own the mobile delivery pipeline end-to-end including CI/CD (Xcode Cloud Bitrise Fastlane or GitHub Actions) a robust automated testing strategy (unit component and end-to-end flows) and releases across the Apple App Store and Google Play as Android matures.

Drive Apple App Store release processes with full ownership provisioning code signing TestFlight phased rollouts and compliance ensuring smooth reliable releases at pace.

Partner with Cloud AR/3D and UX teams on integrations and user experience contributing hands-on development support and helping align mobile capabilities with the broader XYZ platform architecture.

Champion engineering quality across the mobile codebase through code review documentation automated testing at scale and mentoring setting the standard for how mobile is built at XYZ.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of professional mobile development experience with strong demonstrable production experience shipping React Native and TypeScript at scale including native modules bridging techniques and deep React Native optimisation.

Deep iOS knowledge build system app lifecycle memory management and debugging with Xcode Instruments plus working Swift proficiency sufficient to read write and maintain native modules; Objective-C familiarity is a plus.

Proven end-to-end ownership of the Apple App Store release process (provisioning code signing TestFlight submissions) and hands-on experience designing and operating mobile CI/CD pipelines (Xcode Cloud Bitrise Fastlane or GitHub Actions).

Strong background in automated testing at scale (Jest component testing Appium or equivalent end-to-end UI automation) solid grasp of app architectures and state management (Redux MobX Zustand or Context API) and proficiency with RESTful APIs and offline-first application design.
