Production Troubleshooting Technician I

This is a Day Shift position Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Test and troubleshoot microprocessor-based products to component level with general guidance.
2. Provide technical support to engineering and manufacturing.
3. Provide basic troubleshooting training to production floor personnel.
4. Develop and maintain knowledge of SEL products and processes to ensure product quality and integrity.
5. Implement department objectives under direction of immediate supervisor.
6. Model teach and apply SEL Values Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Two-year degree in Industrial Electronic Technology or equivalent work experience
Intermediate technical writing documentation and presentation skills
Strong analytical and judgment skills
Strong writing documentation and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications
2 years experience in electronic design manufacturing or testing
Working knowledge of structured programming
Process improvement experience

Pay Range Data: $32.88-$48.60 per hour
