Skills and Competencies
  • A strong understanding of global credit markets fixed income and relevant sectors
  • 1015 years experience in sales relationship management and outreach
  • Investor relationship experience is a plus
  • Demonstrates a high sense of urgency
  • Possesses a learning mindset and highly outcome-focused
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to develop strategic relationships with excellent selling and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices including risk management and ethical use
Education
  • Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent)
  • CFA or equivalent beneficial
Responsibilities
The role focuses on convincing investors of the benefits and value of Moodys Ratings credit ratings enhancing sales success and supporting product development by gathering market insights.
  • Promote to investors the relevance and value of a Moodys rating in their capital commitment process
  • Encourage investors to carefully consider the merits of having a Moodys rating before committing capital and the risks of not having one including discussing these merits and risks with counterparties
  • Champion a best-in-class investor experience by collaborating appropriately with the Ratings & Research Investor Management team and analysts
  • Encourage market participants to promote the relevance and value of Moodys Ratings to their clients or investees
  • Enhance market participants broader understanding of Moodys Ratings products and services enabling them to share this knowledge with clients or investees
  • Craft arguments collect supporting evidence and build and deliver marketing materials to support these objectives
  • Support increased sales by Relationship Managers
  • Identify opportunities for Relationship Managers to market Moodys Ratings to issuers by understanding investor requirements and briefing the RM team
  • Bring investor insights and intelligence back to the Relationship Management team
  • Refer investor-requested product leads appropriately
  • Support Commercial Product Managements new product development by providing insights on investors needs and demands
About the Team
This team is focused on expanding Moodys Ratings coverage through strategic engagement with institutional investors and capital market participants who influence rating agency selection decisions. The role plays a key part in promoting the value of Moodys Ratings within investment decision-making processes particularly within private credit and institutional investor segments driving revenue growth and reinforcing Moodys position as a leader in the ratings market.
