About the Role
The Learning Experience Ramsey is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom of preschool-aged learners in a structured engaging early education setting. This position focuses on supporting kindergarten readiness through hands-on activities consistent routines and positive classroom leadership.
Our preschool program helps children strengthen communication independence and early academic confidence while learning through purposeful play.
Responsibilities
Lead daily classroom activities in a safe and supportive learning environment
Deliver lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum and developmental milestones
Support children during centers transitions meals and rest periods
Encourage cooperation problem-solving and social-emotional growth
Maintain classroom organization and licensing compliance standards
Partner with families through regular communication and updates
Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership to maintain program quality
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in a daycare preschool or early childhood classroom preferred
Strong teamwork and classroom management skills
Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices helpful
Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
