Senior Data Analyst

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.

1. Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
2. Extract manipulate and analyze large datasets using SQL.
3. Utilize Adobe Analytics to track measure and report on digital performance metrics.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.
5. Design and implement data models ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
6. Provide recommendations based on trend analysis and forecasting.
7. Automate data processes and improve data visualization techniques.
8. Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
9. Performance Metrics & KPI Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business initiatives.
10. Automation & Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation in data collection reporting and visualization.
11. Storytelling with Data: Present insights to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and visualization techniques.
12. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT marketing finance and product teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

1. 8 years of experience in data analytics reporting and data visualization roles within enterprise environments.
2. Hands-on experience with Databricks on any major cloud platform (Azure AWS or GCP) including data processing and analytics workflows.
3. Strong expertise in SQL ETL/ELT processes and modern cloud-based data architecture principles.
4. Experience working with Azure Data Factory for data ingestion transformation and pipeline orchestration.
5. Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics including data warehousing integration and analytics solutions.
6. Proven ability to design and implement scalable data solutions and optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
7. Experience working with large-scale datasets data modeling and data integration across multiple systems.
8. Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex data environments.
9. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.

**CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level geographic market experience and training and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95000$145000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
