Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst Wealth Management & SQL
Location: Toronto ON
Work Model: Hybrid 4 days onsite/week
Role Summary
Seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the modernization of a portfolio management platform. The role will lead functional analysis requirements system/data analysis integration design and collaboration with business and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional analysis requirements gathering and solution design.
- Create functional specifications user stories use cases data mappings and system flows.
- Perform hands-on SQL/data analysis and reconciliation.
- Analyze APIs batch processing event-driven flows and system integrations.
- Analyze legacy systems and define modernization/future-state solutions.
- Trace end-to-end data across upstream processing and downstream systems.
- Support production issue analysis and RCA.
- Use AI-assisted tools for analysis requirements and documentation.
- Partner with business architecture data and engineering teams.
Required Skills
- 5 years as a BSA Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Strong experience with functional specifications data mappings and system flows.
- Experience with APIs batch processing and system integrations.
- Experience with system modernization/transformation.
- Wealth Management / Capital Markets experience.
- Understanding of positions transactions valuations and performance.
- Strong communication and ability to work across complex enterprise systems.
Nice to Have: Agile / Waterfall experience.
