- Operate and manage sound and lighting equipment for various events and performances ensuring high-quality production standards.
- Collaborate with event planners directors and other technical staff to design and execute lighting and sound plans that meet specific requirements and enhance the audiences experience.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of audio and lighting systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime during events.
- Set up test and adjust sound and lighting equipment prior to events making necessary calibrations and configurations for optimal performance.
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in sound and lighting to continually improve skills and suggest innovative solutions for upcoming projects.
- Proven experience in operating sound and lighting equipment in an architectural or event planning environment.
- Strong understanding of audio and lighting control systems including digital consoles and DMX lighting protocols.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively during live events to ensure minimal disruption.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with event planners performers and other technical staff.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules.
