Senior Product Owner

The Sr Product Owner translates product strategy and roadmap priorities into clear prioritized work for product and engineering teams. This role owns feature definition backlog prioritization acceptance criteria and day-to-day delivery decisions for assigned products and complex capabilities.  

Working in collaboration with the Product Manager Business Intelligence Analysts engineering teams and business stakeholders the Sr Product Owner ensures delivered solutions address validated user needs support measurable business outcomes and align with AGS product standards and strategic priorities. The role initially supports AGS digital workforce knowledge-management and AI-enabled capabilities. 

Essential Functions 

• Own assigned products and complex capabilities from feature definition through delivery release adoption measurement and continuous improvement.  

• Translate product strategy roadmap priorities validated user needs and business requirements into prioritized features epics user stories acceptance criteria and release plans.  

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value user impact risk dependencies effort technical health and available capacity.  

• Make feature-level decisions involving scope sequencing trade-offs release readiness and acceptance within approved strategy architecture governance and investment boundaries.  

• Valiate backlog readiness and balance new capabilities with enhancements defects technical debt security compliance and operational needs.  

• Partner with engineering and delivery teams throughout planning refinement development testing release and post-release support to clarify requirements and resolve delivery issues.  

• Collaborate with the Product Manager Business Intelligence Analysts Change Management and the wider Product team to incorporate strategy discovery detailed requirements knowledge assets onboarding needs and user feedback into product priorities.  

• Coordinate with engineering architecture data AI information security privacy legal and operations teams to manage dependencies controls and technical trade-offs.  

• Communicate product priorities decisions delivery status risks dependencies and trade-offs to business and technical stakeholders and escalate strategic or investment decisions to the Product Manager.  

• Resolve competing stakeholder needs through transparent prioritization and alignment to approved product strategy and measurable outcomes.  

• Define feature-level adoption and success measures and use product usage user feedback operational performance and business outcomes to guide improvements.  

• Promote reuse and consistency across AGS products integrations knowledge assets agent capabilities and shared platform services.  

• Ensure data knowledge and AI-enabled capabilities meet applicable quality ownership governance privacy security validation currency access maintenance and human-accountability requirements.  

• Maintain knowledge of relevant product management Agile business domain data analytics AI and technology practices.  

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science Product Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.  

• Three or more years of experience in product ownership product management business analysis software delivery or a related digital-product role including experience independently managing complex products or capabilities.  

• Experience supporting enterprise products or platforms across planning development validation release adoption and continuous improvement.  

• Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs and translating strategy and complex business needs into features epics user stories and acceptance criteria.  

• Strong working knowledge of Agile product-development practices and the software-development lifecycle.  

• Ability to manage complex priorities dependencies delivery timeframes stakeholder needs and technical trade-offs.  

• Ability to understand enterprise platforms integrations data flows security requirements and architectural dependencies.  

• Strong analytical problem-solving decision-making communication facilitation and stakeholder-influence skills.  

• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed product business engineering architecture data and governance teams.  

• Experience with AI-enabled products knowledge-management solutions digital workforce platforms reporting analytics or other complex digital products preferred.  

• Experience with Jira Confluence or comparable product and delivery-management platforms preferred.  

• Knowledge of workforce solutions talent acquisition managed services or related business processes preferred.  

• Product Owner Agile Scrum or product-management certification preferred.
