Program Lead Women Agency, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Program Implementation: Develop and lead the implementation of programs focused on enhancing womens agency within the Women Empowerment Portfolio.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to understand and address the unique challenges faced by women in different contexts.
• Capacity Building: Design and execute workshops and training sessions to build the leadership and advocacy skills of women participants.
• Partnership Management: Establish partnerships with external organizations and experts to bring diverse perspectives and resources to womens agency programs.
• Community Mobilization: Lead the coordination of community-level initiatives to promote womens participation in decision-making processes.
• Policy Advocacy: Advocate for policy changes that support and strengthen womens agency in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the impact of womens agency programs gathering insights for continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated positive shifts in womens agency at the household community and governance levels.
• Comprehensive understanding and successful addressing of the unique challenges faced by women across different contexts.
• Enhanced leadership and advocacy skills among women participants through effective workshops and training sessions.
• Successful establishment of strategic partnerships with external organizations and subject matter experts.
• Impactful execution of community-level initiatives promoting womens participation in decision-making processes.
• Advocacy efforts leading to policy changes that support and strengthen womens agency.
• Robust monitoring and evaluation systems providing actionable insights for program enhancement.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Womens Studies Social Work or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing programs focused on womens empowerment.
• Track Record: Proven track record of successful leadership in womens agency initiatives.

• Proficiency in leveraging technology and digital tools for advancing womens agency.
• Strong advocacy and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with gender and youth empowerment in a development context is highly desirable (plus).
• Demonstrated passion for advancing gender equality and womens empowerment.
