On a typical day you will:
- Act as technical lead for mechanical systems and technical documentation.
- Responsible for the complete product lifecycle including design development and testing of mechanical components / Assemblies etc.
- Ensure all designs meet safety regulatory and quality requirements.
- Lead role for contract engineering & application engineering functions for domestic & international markets.
- Responsible for meeting business plan & key operating deliverables
- Drive digital initiatives productivity & quality improvements
- Guide & lead the passionate team of engineering professionals towards their professional & organizational growth
- Coordinate with internal customers (sales & field) to understand their specific needs by market build the strategy and plans for executions
- Collaborate with factory teams including engineering logistics manufacturing & supply chain teams for seamless execution of the strategies & delivering to the customer expectations
- Spearhead & establish the strategies for business growth expansion of market coverage product development manufacturing operations & field support contribute to annual business planning
What you will need to be successful:
- BE/ In mechanical
- Minimum 12 years of total work experience which includes experience in contract/application engineering & people management (Min 5 years). Experience in project management & product development shall be an added advantage.
- Exp in designing with CREO or similar tools.
- Exp in new product development.
- People Management.
ANY OTHER KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES IF REQUIRED
- Strong/clear communication interpersonal and presentation skills
- Must be proficient in English (spoken written)
- Must be technical oriented & well versed with industry standards
- Ability to lead diversified teams & manage stake holders expectations
- Ability to team across functions & countries and resolve conflicts
- Proficient with MS office tools
