Role:Fundraising Lead Experience: 5-9 Years Salary: Up to 30 LPA Location: Bangalore Hybrid
Role Overview: The Fundraising Lead is responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end fundraising strategies to support and scale our educational programs. This role encompasses identifying and cultivating prospective donors foundations and corporate partners (CSR). You will prepare high-quality grant proposals concept notes pitch decks and donor reports while maintaining a structured fundraising pipeline and CRM system.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Pipeline & Proposal Management: Research funding opportunities write compelling grant proposals draft concept notes and prepare pitch materials.
Donor Cultivation & Stewardship: Coordinate donor meetings lead presentations build long-term donor relationships and ensure timely high-quality impact reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal program and finance teams to align proposals and reports with accurate impact data and budgets.
Ecosystem Networking: Represent the organization professionally at industry events conferences and stakeholder forums to expand our funding network.
Collateral Development: Contribute to communication and marketing materials that highlight program outcomes and institutional vision.
Qualifications & Key Competencies
Fundraising & Donor Relations: Proven experience in grant writing institutional fundraising and managing relationships with foundations corporate CSR teams and individual donors.
Strategy & Analysis: Ability to design comprehensive fundraising strategies set and track revenue targets analyze funding landscapes and manage pipeline tools/CRMs.
Communication & Storytelling: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of crafting compelling narratives pitch decks and impact reports.
Partnerships & Networking: Strong networking abilities with experience engaging ecosystem partners and representing an organization externally.
Stakeholder & Project Management: Demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams (program finance leadership) and deliver outputs on tight timelines.
Relevant Sector Experience: Prior experience in fundraising development or social sector rolespreferably within education early childhood development or nonprofit organizations.
Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Development Studies Business Communications or Social Sciences) with a strong commitment to educational equity.
